Overview
This role is responsible for posting all insurance payments and adjustments correctly in accordance with best practices and meeting performance standards.

Responsibilities
- Timely posting of all lockbox payments for assigned partner offices
- Proper distribution of any correspondence received through lockbox to other departments
- Making the proper adjustments to patient ledgers according to the Explanation of benefits and company standards
- Create Issue traks for all denials received for further review
- File secondary claims as needed with supporting documentation
- Complete other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Understanding of Dental Insurance and Explanation of benefits
- Previous high volume posting experience
- Dentrix, Eagle Soft or Easy Dental software experience preferred
- Detail oriented with great organizational skills
- Typing/Data Entry Skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve set timelines/goals
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- MS Office Suite knowledge is a plus
